hello, I'm Chinese.
I sent a parcel to my brother in Scotland, but I gave the express company wrong address and postal code , the postman must can't find my brother, but I gave them the correct my brother's phone number.

In China, if the postmen can't find the recipients, they'll call the recipients by the phone number, asking for the correct address.

but different Countrys have different methods, a friend told me that british postmen haven't the custom to call the recipients, they'll return the parcel back to me, is it true?

thank you.

<>Odds are, if there is a telephone number supplied, they will call it. However, you might want to have your brother call the local depot (to him) for the delivery company to update the address for himself, because most of these companies will only attempt to deliver 2-3 times before they give up.
